Minh Ngoc Production and Trading Co., Ltd. – formerly known as a black steel pipe manufacturing company located in Pho Noi A Industrial Zone, Hung Yen Province – has experienced continuous growth and development over the past two decades. The company has consistently expanded its production scale and diversified its business operations. From a business specializing in steel pipe manufacturing, Minh Ngoc has steadily established its position in the industrial sector while also expanding investment into the energy and construction materials sectors.

Products under the “Minh Ngoc Steel Pipe” brand were proudly awarded the “Vietnam National Brand” certification in 2024. Minh Ngoc steel pipes have always been the top choice for industrial and civil construction projects, as well as for interior and exterior decorative applications, meeting all customer demands for steel piping.

In 2025, Minh Ngoc transitioned its business structure to a parent-subsidiary model, with the strategic vision of becoming a sustainable, multi-industry corporation and a pioneer in applying technology in both production and corporate management. The company has been honored for many consecutive years as one of the Top 500 Largest and Fastest Growing Enterprises in Vietnam (VNR500, FAST500).

  • Established Minh Ngoc Production and Trading Co., Ltd. and the carbon steel pipe factory along with auxiliary facilities in Zone D3 – Pho Noi A Industrial Park.
  • With 3 production lines, the company produced its first products, reaching an output of 500 tons per month.
2009

Completed and synchronized the production line for galvanized steel pipes, including coil slitting, pickling, rolling and galvanizing roll forming.

2013

Expanded with the development of the second factory in Lac Dao, Van Lam, covering an area of 2.5 hectares. Invested in an additional synchronized production line for coil pickling, slitting, rolling and with a width of 420 mm. Total output reached 5,000 tons per month.

2014

Invested in additional steel pipe production lines, increasing total production capacity to 9,000 tons per month.

2015

The factory underwent a second expansion, increasing the total area to 5.3 hectares. An additional synchronized galvanized pipe production line was invested, including galvanizing, rolling, coil pickling for 650 mm width. Total capacity reached 13,000 tons per month.

2016

Installed an additional synchronized rolling and galvanizing line, increasing total capacity to 20,000 tons per month.

2017

The company began investing in the hydropower sector with the Chi Khe Hydropower Plant (41 MW), the Ngan Truoi Hydropower Plant (20 MW), and the Ban Mong Hydropower Plant (45 MW).

2018

Invested in RedstarCera Joint Stock Company, formerly known as Truc Thon Ceramic tiles Factory, located in Chi Linh, Hai Duong.

2020

Invested in two additional hydropower projects, bringing the total owned capacity to over 150 MW: The Bac Na Hydropower Project, comprising Bac Na and Bac Na 1 plants with a total capacity of 20 MW and a total investment of over VND 500 billion; and the Nam Chien Hydropower Project, including Nam Chien 2 and Nam Chien 3 plants built on the Chien stream, with a total capacity of 35 MW and a total investment of nearly VND 1,000 billion.

2023

Invested in the Song Quang Hydropower Plant with a total investment of VND 500 billion. The plant includes 2 generating units with an installed capacity of 12 MW, producing an average annual electricity output of approximately 47.69 million kWh.

2025

Minh Ngoc restructured into a multi-sector corporate group model.

Along with the establishment of Minh Ngoc Steel Pipe Co., Ltd., Minh Ngoc Production and Trading Co., Ltd. officially became the parent company, setting its development direction as a multi-sector group, with subsidiaries specializing in specific fields.
